Enter all materials for this batch
For each material, enter its price per item and the total quantity you will use. A material name is optional. Add another row for supplies such as sandpaper.
Set the finished-item quantity
Enter how many finished items the entered materials will produce. Changing only this number does not increase material quantities. Use Make a larger batch to scale materials, output and extra crafting costs together.
Check tax and choose your profit
Confirm the current tax in the game. Choose No loss or a profit percentage based on total cost. The result is a selling price per finished item, assuming every finished item sells.
Example: wood at 5,254 plus sandpaper at 400
For a calculation example, enter 2 wood at 5,254 each and 1 sandpaper at 400. Wood costs 10,508; including sandpaper, the total cost is 10,908 Kinah. Set output to 1 finished item. This is an entered example, not a verified recipe.
At 10% tax, no extra fees and upward tax rounding, 12,120 Kinah breaks even. The first price that leaves a positive profit is 12,122. A 10% profit target gives 13,333 Kinah: after 1,334 tax, you receive 11,999, leaving 1,091 Kinah profit.
| Goal | Price per item | Net profit |
|---|---|---|
| No loss | 12,120 | 0 |
| 5% of cost | 12,727 | 546 |
| 10% of cost | 13,333 | 1,091 |
| 20% of cost | 14,545 | 2,182 |
Making more items
To make ten times this batch, use the ×10 batch control: 20 wood, 10 sandpaper and 10 finished items. Material costs become 109,080 Kinah. Check all quantities before using the result.
If the same original materials instead produce 2 finished items, leave the material quantities unchanged and set output to 2. The break-even price becomes 6,060 per item under these conditions. Enter the actual output from your recipe.
Costs and actual sale prices
Extra costs and settings contains additional crafting costs, listing fees and tax rounding. The calculation starts with 10% tax, zero extra costs and upward rounding; these are editable assumptions. Confirm the game’s actual conditions.
You can enter an actual planned selling price to see the resulting profit or loss. ASBC does not fetch live market prices or guarantee a sale. Unsold items, repeated listings and crafting failures are not automatically included.
Resale and splitting a stack
The previous resale calculator is still available under Saved plans and other calculators. For example, buying 100 items at 130,000 and selling all of them at 150,000 gives revenue 15,000,000, tax 1,500,000 and net profit 500,000 at 10% tax with no fees.
| Selling plan | Tax | Total net profit |
|---|---|---|
| 25 × 4 listings | 1,500,000 | 500,000 |
| 50 × 2 listings | 1,500,000 | 500,000 |
| 100 × 1 listing | 1,500,000 | 500,000 |
Fixed listing fees, tax rounding or different selling prices can change the result. The crafting sale-price result assumes one listing for all finished items.
Record what actually sold
Open Trade ledger to record a purchase, sold quantity and actual settlement received. Enter the amount after tax so tax is not deducted twice. The ledger separates realized profit from the cost in unsold stock.
Calculator inputs stay in this browser. The trade ledger and explicitly saved crafting plans can sync when signed in with the same Steam account. Check account sync status before continuing on another device.
